The original EMPIREHOUSE was a boarding house, restaurant, and bar in Rome New York owned by Joseph O’Brien, the great, great grand-father of the owners. Established in 1900 and operated into the 1970’s. The original EMPIREHOUSE offered travelers and locals an escape from everyday life.
EMPIREHOUSE urban palate is a collaboration of owners Larry Malone and Rika Malone. With a passion for food and quality service, Larry and Rika were seeking to create a neighborhood bar with great food, creative ambiance, and uncompromised service.
